No. 99% of the trucks on this page is heavily modified / scaled down or chopped actual trucks. Hours of hard work and customizing went into the design and build of these trucks. Almost all at some point was a working class truck.

No question is a wrong question. The best way to get your questions answered is to go join the MiniBigRigz private Facebook page. All the custom Builders fetured here on MEMBERS RIDES  are on the page and you can connect with them.

  • What Chassis is commonly used?

Although there  are many styles of chassis on the market. The most common ones are

     Chevy/Gmc, Dodge, Ford.

#1 Chevy/Gmc:  This chassis is a great platform for a Mini because of availability and Cost. Two chassis to look for is the C30 or C3500 and the P30 chassis. Also parts from a G30 can be utilized.

#2 Dodge : If your a Mopar guy then this will be your first pick. The Dodge half and one ton chassis is a great platform to use if your wanting a cummins motor and you have little fabrication skills. Basiclly your just doing a body swap and wiring

#3 Ford: This chassis is commonly used with the fiberglass kits produced by LIL BIG RIG from Nashvilee TN. The down fall to a Ford chassis is that if you wanted air ride and to lower your truck down the Ford cross bone suspension will not allow the truck to drag tail like the Chevy/Gmc and Dodge chassis will.
